I just bought a new ACER desktop computer OS Windows7 and I cannot install Dell Photo All-In-One Printer 964 Free Download even though I bought the printer from you and have been using it with my Dell Dimension3100 for two years: what do I have to do to get the Dell printer working, Gentlemen? Or if I purchase a new Dell Printer will I still be able to use the same ink cartridges that are extended capacity and only a couple of months old? Even though I don't work for Dell, maybe I can give you a few ideas. Did you make sure that the download you tried was Windows 7 compatable? Also this might be a silly question, but I've actually done this before. Did you install the printer on your ACER?

First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.

Disconnect the printer.

Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).

I lost my installation disc for my printer.How can I install my printer to my new computer without it?
mcdevito75 here, Iwould imageine if your computer is also a Dell, you should be able to install the printer from possibly your desktop. Best Bet however is to contact Dell for a new cd.

No installation CD
Based on the product number you have provided I'm guessing it a dell. If I'm wrong please post the correct Make and Model number. Going on the Dell idea this would be the page you need.

Choose Operating system then click the blue/white plus sign below, and download your drivers.
