You have a bad water filter . Replace it by turning the knob on the lower kickplate and remove old filter . The rubber seal on the old filter has worn out causing the leaking seal to drip into the drip pan causing it to overflow .

The water is normal....however the evap motor and fan should be drying the water before it overflows. THe evap fan motor may need replaced. You will have to pull the unit from the wall and take the back panel off or tilt the unit back towards the wall and go in from the underneath side. As far as the door goes....you might need to tighten or replace one of the hinges.

This is not your defrost water. Look closely at the water filter housing where the hoses connect to it. They are likely leaking. Let me know what you see...defrost water never gets that high...not even close.

The drain pan at the bottom of the freezer side is overflowing.

If your water filter is " thru the kick plate , at the bottom , replace the filter . I have found several times now , where the filter rubber seals , have leaked into the drain pan , causing it to over flow . You do not have to replace the filter housing , just the filter .

Whirlpool side by side defrost drain pan overflowing

Maybe your machine has a leaky door, letting moist air inside. Make sure your compressor area is lint free. The heat from the compressor is supposed to evaporate that water. Make sure the pan is exactly in the right place, level, not cracked.

Danby freezer leaking water

there is a line from the freezer defrost pan to the evaporation pan at the bottom. They often get clogged with bugs, dirt, etcWhen that happens, the defrost pan overflows resulting with a spill of water. Find it, blow it free , and you should be OK.good luck, John
