Is not actuallly physically closing??? perhaps the lock/ latch has partially engaged prevetning door from closing, and with the door oopen it cannot do anything for safety reasons. can you see a door /light switch thtyou can depress by hand??? if so push and hold it in the light should go out, and at this point continue to hold in switch and try starting a self clean cycle ( dont worry it wont actually start cleaning right away)it then should activet the latch assy to fully engage and suppoedly lock door, still depressing the button then press thecancel button and the latch should return to the normal resting position and you can close the door

To close an oven door when it's in the locked position andthe door is open, press and hold the oven door light switch while followingthese simple steps:
  • Program the oven to self-clean.
  • Wait 20 seconds.
  • Cancel self-clean.
  • Wait 20 seconds.
To self-clean your wall oven, follow these simple steps:
  • Remove the oven racks.
  • Set your oven control to "Clean."
  • Select a cleaning time or choose a cleaning level: light, medium or heavy. For typical cleaning needs, we recommend that you select a cleaning time of three hours or choose the medium setting.
  • Select "Start." (To set a delayed start, see your Use & Care Guide.)

Note: For safety reasons, the oven door will remain locked until the oven coolsdown. When it is sufficiently cool, the door will automatically unlock Thanks for using fixya.

The oven door won't close all the way. The "lock" light on the upper left is on. No amount of fiddling has solved this problem and oven is unusable. Help please!

Hi

The door lock assembly is bad and should be replaced, you can try to move it but that won't help and will have to be replaced to solve this issue. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
