I took something out of the washer i should not

I took something out of the duet washer i should not have and need help explaining how to get it back init is not my washer and i recently moved into this place and I do not want tell my landlord i broke his washer because i feel bad please get back to me soon

    i took the part out of the top where the fabric softener and the bleach goes in. That long piece That is vertical to the right of the other ones where you put your detergent. now it wont go back in at all no matter what i try it gets caught and wont go back further and the pieces that are suppose to go down in there spots wont go down...

    i m tryin to think of the part it seems like a divider of some such.... go to searspartsdirect.com and enter the model number of the machine on inside on sticker, it will give u a parts breakdown and tell me the name of the part u are haveing trouble with..... so i can understand beetter, but right now it seems that nothing is broken its just a matter of u installin it correctly, well the whole dispenser bucket can be pulled out to reinstall make sure the metal bar on very back top goes in under top and it is lined up straight and should push straight back, also those divders neeed to fit into the grooves on the assembly it might just be a matter of trying and retrying until u get it , get bak to me if u want i will try to help soory

Washer wont spin ...motor runs but drum doesnt

If this is a Duet front loader, you need to check to see if the drive belt may have broken, or slipped off the drive pulley behind the wash tub.

Water seeps into Whirpool Duet washer

Error 2 F

The "F2" error is called a Long Drain error. It is usually attributed to something clogging the drain pump and/or drain lines. The following link explains how to check:
