How do you turn the volume up?

Do you mean playback on the camcorder, or playback via a TV or PC ? If on the camcorder, there may be a menu setting for this - check the manual. If TV or PC, use the volume control on that.
Alternatively, there may be a menu setting to permit you to record at a higher volume. Be careful if you choose this, as background noise will also increase in volume.

THERE IS NO SOUND IN THE VIDEOS I TAKE.

When you play your videos with your canon PowerShot SD630, try to press the up and down keys to adjust the sound, and the up key is to make the sound loud. Wish this will help you..

I have a canon sd 1100 camera with video recording. It no longer records the sound with teh video and I don't know if I hit a button or if it just broke. any thoughts?

If you're not hearing anything on playback on the camera, try pressing the up-arrow during playback to increase the volume. If you're not hearing anything on playback on a computer (and neither the viewer nor the computer are on mute) then something is broken on the camera, causing it not to record audio.

Ixus 65 movie recording but no sounds

Try this. While in the shooting mode, in the menu under the tools tab there is a mute control that turns all sounds off. Also under volume there is a control for playback volume.
