The steering levers control all movement on a zero-turn mower. Just slowly pull both handles back evenly and you'll go backwards in a straight line. The farther you pull back the levers the faster it goes backwards.

Anytime the main light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not flickering. If you cannot get both lights to come on you have bad sensors.
If the main light flashes 10 times when the door reverses it is a door sensor problem. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not flickering. Tweak them a little. If you cannot get both lights to come on you have bad sensors or the wiring to them.
You can try increasing the 'down force' which is a control on the rear of the motor unit. If the main light is flashing 10 times when the door reverses it is a door sensor problem. Make sure they are pointed at one another.
If the main light flashes 10 times when the door reverses it is a door sensor problem. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is not flickering ever so slightly.
If the door reverses when it hits the floor it is a sign that the door is traveling a bit to far. The adjustment for this is on the side of the motor unit. Turn the 'down limit' in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Some tweaking will probably be necessary.
YOU NEED TO SET THE SENSITIVITY - THIS IS A CRITICAL ADJUSTMENT KEPP BACKING IT OFF 1/16 TURN AT A TIME UNTIL THE DOOR REVERSES WITH NO OBSTRUCTION THEN TURN IT BACK 1/8 TURN & RETEST
If the main light flashes 10 times when the door reverses it is a sensor problem. Make sure the door isn't hitting the floor and then reversing. This problem will not cause the light to flash 10 times and can be corrected by adjusting the 'down limit' which is on the side of the motor unit.
If the main light blinks 10 times when the door reverses it is a sensor problem. Sometimes the sensors are misaligned just enough that the light comes on but closing will be intermittent. If the main light is not blinking 10 times and you have increased the down force it might be a bad RPM sensor board. This is a small printed circuit board just in front of the motor. I might add I have never seen one intermittent but there is always a first time.
try adjusted the sensor controls on the sode of the unit other wise replace the logic board http://www.chamberlain-garage-door-openers.com/circuitboardcompatibilitychart.htm
