ITU is missing or defective. Try reinstalling the ITU. If this doesn't work you'll have to replace it. The ITU is the black "belt" at the bottom of the printer.

lexmark basically has said that if this error doesnt clear by powering off the machine and powering it back on again then it will need to have a service call. this error means there is a problem with the itu belt assembly.below is what they say. the steps were to pwoer it off and back on again using a grounded wall socket
