The cost for repair a cracked screen will come around the 2/3rd of the total cost of the TV, including service charges. Cracked one cannot be repaired; and it only can be repalced with an other original one. OK.

Don't buy this tv.The tv LCD screen broken,the tv is junk now,not worth as a whole tv anymore.The replacement of the LCD screen,will cost the same as a new tv.The tv LCD screen panels are limited produced,by the tvs corporation.Will cost the same as a new tv,if require changing the LCD screen panel.

Is this a question? In order to change inputs on this television you must press the input button located on the television. The buttons are on the very top right. Turn on whatever device you are attempting to access first. If you need channel 3 or 4 it they can be located on input tv and by press 3 . 0 ent or 4 . 0 ent on the remote control

Unfortunatly it is garbage basically.. You can have them repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new LCD. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one.After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.

If ur screen is got hit by any object or LCD screen noticeable,broken not worth fixing,because the tv compannies sell the LCD screen same as a new tv.If the tv is normal use video just die.Than replaced ur LCD inverter board to get picture back.

The panel will have to be replaced can't be repaired. The panel cost is about what you paid for TV.

Most LCD's just went down in price by around 2-400 dollars. I would suggest buying a new one. The cracked screen might mean that the liquid will ooze out and get worse and worse as it ages. However, it may only have a crack and not get any worse than it is now. If you can live with it and it doesn't get worse, you can view it that way for another 10 years and be fine.

The fact that the LCDs are cheaper now and you only have a 37 inch, you might consider getting a larger one that you have had your eye on for a long time. (Note: even though I am a firm believer in LCD's over Plasma, plasmas are a few hundered dollars cheaper and if you know your children are prone to breaking things... it might be the way to go.)

Replacing the screen is possible, but more costly than the new T.V.
