When tv is turned on got flickering picture. Checked bulb and bulb appears intact and in good condition. Bulb lights up for a second then shuts off then no picture. Any ideas? Mitsubishi wd52525 DLP

I suspect the B+ voltage on the power supply can't regulate the voltage needed for the lamps to run entirely. The B+ voltage regulator looks like a small black box with a tapered top. This is dangerous to replace so be careful. Once you get a new one installed this will fix the issue you are having.

Hope this helps :)

Lamp Indicator is Red

Its much more likely that your getting a 34 error which is a lamp abnormality vaused by defective capacitors on the power board. You can get the V26 DLP power PWB repair kit at the following link that should repair the issue. Chances are your old lamp is still good.

Green or blue vertical lines on my WD52525

it is not the lamp. the DM board is causing this problem. if the DM is going bad the FMT is not far behind. it will cost you $250.00 plus shipping one way. see www.tv-techs.com

No picture and no sound after replace lamp for Mitsubishi WD-51525

did you use an original mitsbishi lamp. did it slide in easily? one of the most common problems with a lamp replaement is pushing the connector away from the lamp if it doesn't slide in easily. unplug the set, take out the lamp and look with a flashlight to see if the connector is in place. if so put the old lamp in and see if it works. if it does then your new one is bad. if it doesn't then email me
[email protected] with your number and we can talk more.
