Anyone have the 2001 VW Golf speaker wire colors?

  • Anonymous May 18, 2010

Yeah, I saw that, thanks for the quick response. I don't think its a Monsoon. It's a European/ German Golf. I only have about 12 wires. I'm just looking for the colors. I've looked at other VW models and nothings seems to match or make sense.

Colors of wires of MAF sensor in 2001 VW golf gti vr6

2001 VW Golf GTi VR6
On the MAF sensor connecting plug you will see 5 pin numbers. Each pin number correspond to a wire color:
Pin no.# 1 = violet/green, is comming from pin no.# 26 of ECM. ECM = Engine Control Module.
Pin no.# 2 = blue/yellow, is comming from fuse no.# 43 = 10 Amp. (battery plus is comming through a blue wire from pin no.# 23 of fuel pump relay).
Pin no.# 3 = green, is comming from pin no.# 27 of ECM.
Pin no.# 4 = red/violet, is comming from pin no.# 53 of ECM.
Pin no.# 5 = black, is comming from pin no.# 29 of ECM.

Speedo not working , vw golf 2001 .

I tell you for sure that is the sensor problem from gearbox.the sensor, or the wire. The fuel gauge is connected to the gearbox because is not very nice to corner and the fuel gauge go up and down. Now because the fuel gauge "didn't know" how many miles did you made, he is moving up and down. All recent cars have the same problem, and had the same problem on my girlfriend Golf 4. It was the wire. The mecanic forgot to put it back.

What does each colored wire do from the rear of the light switch in a Golf/Caddy , want to retrofit fog lights , have all VW parts necessary

Have you tried the VW/Audi forums? Lots of DRL and foglight mods over there. Sometimes you can install the factory light by buying the parts from a dealer or salvage yard. The wiring is mostly there from the factory. Just install the switches and light assemblies.

Rear Speakers in Golf MK5 are not working

Depending on the model you have, there may not be any speakers in the back only covers. I have a 3 door and there are no speakers in the back. There are covers in place but no speakers, if you go into the menu for sound on the head unit and there is a balance option but no fader option then there are no speakers in the rear and you will have to fit some. VW are notoriously tight when it comes to adding in "extras".
