it's an old pentium 4 LT. relic. fully retired, EOL, end of life.

why fool with it, get a $20 windows 7 PC at Goodwill(tm) stores.
find PC 10 years or newer, avoid relics, that have no parts or support.

what is the problem first then show errors related to said stated problems.
what OS are you running.
my guess here is you are infected with virus.
if yes,
then turn on the notebook , and push F11, and restore the OS.
now.

We had the same exact problem but with a Compaq Pesario V6000 series notebook. Ours had to do with the NVidia System Management Controller but was listed in the device manager as a coprocessor. Kind of a bland description.
Solution: Downloaded and installed NVidia System Management Controller from here. Hope this helps.
