The color on my 52" is way off. Plugged it in after moving and I have lots of blue and red in the wrong places.

In other words the convergence is off and the picture looks like it is A 3-d picture??
Techman if that is the case
The best advice I can tell you at this point is to go to tvrepairkits.com and order the complete convergence kit for your model of TV set, no need to search and order multiple parts from different sources and pay multiple shipping fees! The kit comes with original Sanyo STK IC'S , not those cheap aftermarket or china made IC'S full pictorial directions, the thermal paste, resistors, the correct Pico fuses, AND free live on-Line tech assistance in case you run into a problem with the repair. They ship out 2 to 3 day Priority mail, the next day in most cases GOOD LUCK!!!go here please

I unplugged and moved my TV.When i plugged it back in the color is off.there is plenty of yellow and blue tones but no red tones. What should be red is a brownish color. The picture is not right.

Resolder the connections on the hv transformer. there are 3 little boxes to the right of the transformer. replace the middle one. its a fuse. the value is 400ma.

After having my dish network upgraded to HD and installed, i notice on my tv now that the green and red colors are not there, predominant on channels like ESPN that use these colors most. I._E.: football...

Sounds like one of the cables got plugged in wrong.

Look at the back of the HD box and there should be a cable with 5 ends on it (Green,Blue,Red, White and Red).

Often times a flashlight can help make sure you see the colors clearly.

The Green,Blue and one of the Reds is for video. The White and other red are for Audio.

When you unplug the connector the connection it is attached to is also colored. Check to make sure the colors on the cord match the color they are connected to at the box.
The most common mistakes connecting these cables are:
1) Crossing the Green and the Blue cables.
2) Connecting the Red Audio cable to the Red Video connection.

If all of the connections match the correct colors find the same cable where it plugs into the back of the TV and check these connections that they are correct.

When you find and move the cable to the correct connection this should clear up your color and you can begin to enjoy your new toys....

Good Luck....

No Red color at all. The convergence feature does not work either. Lots of green and blue RCA Model D52W59

Red color gun has failed, which will make the picture over saturated with the other two colors(blue, green) the bad news is the three color guns need to be replace in a set(all at the same time) because if you only replace the red it will over saturate the older blue, green guns then your picture will be mostly red.Unfortunently in most cases it's not worth the investment, better off to purchase a new tv. Good luck !

My tv color is messed up at the top and bottom the thing wont line up its a philips 60pp9202 , wondering whats wrong with it, I tried the multipoint red and blue match up things. The blue is all matched...

My TVs are all old enough that they don't even have the adjustments you've tried. But one thing to look for. CRT televisions are vulnerable to magnets. Do you have any large speakers nearby? Magnets screw up CRT colours.

RCA 56" Rear Projection Television

Not sure if you have the same problem I have but my colors are all off too.  I have a 52" projection and from calling RCA with my problem (colors off & have shadows) they said all projection tv's color need to be adjusted every so often (which they do not tell you) after purchasing this tv for $1000.00 13 mos ago I have the same problem.  It will be approx. 500.00 to fix the problem and I got no where with the RCA 800 number.  A friend of mine had the same problem so I am sure its the same.  Good Luck!

Blue Color spots on all pictures

Call a technician, sounds like an Integrated Circuit problem and would cost you about $250.
