The first generation mitsubishi V26 chassis which is what your model is has a bad habit of failing capacitors. The steady blinking green power light is related to the DM not completeing the boot up sequence. You can get the V26 DM repair kit at the following link which contains the replacemnent caps that are prone to fail and has the CD with step by step instructions on how to duisassemble the cjassis and replace the caps. Its very inexspensive and will usually repair that issue. Its listed under the repair kit category. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
The problem with your set is 4 capacitors are bad on the "DM: board in the unit. These capacitors are 1000 microfarad at 16 volts. Unless you are experienced, this repair should be done by a qualified tech due to the complexity of getting to the capacitors
replace C81A2 C81A3 C81B2 C81B3 on the dm module and C8F19 C8F21 C8F22 C8F27 on the fmt pcb all new caps should be 680uf at 16v instead of 1000uf at 16v
There are (4) 1000uf @35V capacitors all together on the DM board that need to be replaced some models have 1000uf @ 16V but they are all right beside each other and all rated at 1000ufs the voltages will be stamped on the capacitor along with the uf ratings.
