MagiColor 2300DL Printing Wtih Vista over Wireless Network

I have my magicolor 2300dl connected to my smc wireless router with an ethernet cable. I have two other laptops, one operation on XP and the other on Windows 2000. Both are able to print, however, my new HP laptop running vista will only print a test page, nothing else. Thanks for you help

I have the same problem. Seems like there is a problem with the driver.

I've the same problem and tried downloading the latest driver but no progress - did anyone get it to work?

I have the same problem and it has driven me nuts! I've tried connecting to the printer through other machines, both Visa and XP with no luck. I have connected directly to the printer through both USB and ethernet - still doesn't work. What's madening is that it has no problem printing the test page, but nothing else. The printer is also connected to an HP Vista desktop through the router and wirelessly to XP. The direct connection on the Vista desktop prints - though after about a 3 minute delay for each print job and the wireless XP connection prints perfectly.

Our 2300DL is leaving streaks when printing

Out of one or more toners. If you have removed and replaced a cartridge in error the % remaining is reset to 100%. Try to determine which color is missing in your print out (usually black), and then follow menu instructions to replace that cartridge. The ends are color coded so be sure you change the correct one. This will insure the remaining cartridges % remaining is correct.

Windows 7 drivers for minolta magicolor 2300dl?

Two Minolta 2300DL windows 7 64-bit solutions(choose oneoption): 1) Download the XP 64-bit driver and extract to a folder: ftp://ftp.minolta-qms.com/pub/crc/out_going/windows/2300d_64b.exe then Control Panel>Devices and Printers>Add aprinter> Add a local printer>choose USB printer port>select the "HaveDisk" button(do not select a printer) and browse navigate to where you savedthe XP 64-bit driver "MLUU_DRV.inf" driver file which installs and worksfine. Only issue is now have a 3 minutewait delay for each print job using the universal driver compared to no delaywhen printing with XP. OR 2) Follow the Vista USB port(not network) install guide butstill use the XP 64-bit driver. ftp://ftp.minolta-qms.com/pub/crc/out_going/manuals/misc/km_vista_instruct.pdf 3) 32-bit option use the Vista 32-bit driver first as thatshould work.

Konica Minolta 2300 dl is "printing to file"

The port depends on where you've connected the cable between printer and computer.
If a USB connection, select USB
if parallel cable, select parallel
if network cable (ethernet) select tcp/ip port

the driver must match the type of connection (use only 1)

you may wish to uninstall the printer driver then re-install it, keeping in mind which physical connection you have chosen to use.
