Press. Washer Honda engine gx 390 will not start

Hello, everyone: I'v had pressure washer for a year, always started fine. However, I just got it out today, added fuel, changed the oil but no matter what, it will not start. I immediately smelled fuel so I made sure the choke was closed. Took out spark plug and checked it but it seems fine. I don't know how to check for a spark but the engine just seems dead . Karcher people are useless helping so any hel would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Did you leave fuel in it from last year, if so remove all fuel from tank, drain carb. (remove float bowl if it doesn't have a drain bolt) put in fresh fuel, check your oil level and you should be good to go. if not, please take it to a qualified tech. for carb. cleaning.

I am looking at buying the following 2006 Landa PG4-3500 PSI washer Used 283 hours, 13 HP Honda GX-390 3.8GPM, pump 1300RPM Comes w/ wand, hose,& 4 tips What would this washer be worth?

It has quite allot of hours on it so it has been used extensively. 283 hours on a pressure washer pump is about 27% of it's life expectancy. The good news is that it has a Honda engine. If it runs perfectly, looks like it has been taken care of, and has plenty of pressure, I would pay no more than around $400 for it tops. You are the buyer and the seller is wanting to sell. You have the upper hand in this deal. Offer $300 and then bargain.

We need a manual for our pressure washer 3700 PSI, 13 HP-GX 390. How do we get this?

The numbers you have listed are for the engine, Honda doesn't actually make pressure washers but makes the engines. If you are looking for the manual on the pressure washer itself you are going to have to find some other numbers that should be listed on the frame of the machine.

Got a Dewalt 3800 PSI Pressure Washer with 4.0 GPM with a Honda GX 390 gas engine. Tipped it up to roll it out to my truck and got a big puddle of water with what looked like Pump oil in the puddle. Can...

Could very well be. Did you check the oil level and condition of oil? If its too full or if its light brown milky, then water has entered crankcase. Pressure washer pumps cannot stand to ever let run dry. Even a little. Also excessive idling will overheat pump if it doesn't have a thermostatic relief valve that allows some more cool water to enter pump.If it doesn't have one add one. Find your PUMP mfg and model number. IF it's pumping good now and no leaks, quick replacing the seals will save big future repairs. www.pressure-washer-parts.com has lots of info on many pump manufactures. Or get some seals from dewalt.

I have a Honda GX 390 with 13 hp power washer. Overheating.

Make sure the engine is not full of paint or dust debris in it's cooling system. If the fuel mixture setting is very lean, it can cause overheating. Make sure the fuel tank vent is open to prevent fuel starvation. Does the engine seem to be running at full operational speed? If not, it will be short on developed horsepower. Make sure the water source is not partially shut off. Hope some of this helps!

Honda gx 390 only starts when it feels like it

Sometimes you have to lower the air pressure in the tank to allow it to run. The back pressure from the compressed air in the compressor head overcomes the pressure created in the engine at the slow RPMs you are able to pull while attempting to crank it.
