It lights up when plugged and and beeps like it wants to start, but none of the buttons will work to start it up. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Has the safety key been inserted? It sound like that what is missing for it to work if that the case call Iconfitness @ 1-800-999-3756.

Normally when the units just beebs and no other info was given a common over site is that is the safety key has been left out or the switch in side the console would become defective or would come loose from its bracket. Now that the rest of the info out then may I suggest that when a repair decision is going to be made do not pay more then half of what your retail cost in the purchase was spent on. Good Luck to you.

Sound like function pad or upper console I don't know if you can purchase the function pad, but you may have to purchase the entire console and that may quite expensive.

the safety key was inserted. Tried to calibrate it by pressing the start and + key then plugging in the safety card - nothing but zeros and a 10, was told that I would need a new console at $460
