My Nordic Track EXP 1000 won't run.

It lights up when plugged and and beeps like it wants to start, but none of the buttons will work to start it up. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    the safety key was inserted. Tried to calibrate it by pressing the start and + key then plugging in the safety card - nothing but zeros and a 10, was told that I would need a new console at $460

Has the safety key been inserted? It sound like that what is missing for it to work if that the case call Iconfitness @ 1-800-999-3756.

    Normally when the units just beebs and no other info was given a common over site is that is the safety key has been left out or the switch in side the console would become defective or would come loose from its bracket. Now that the rest of the info out then may I suggest that when a repair decision is going to be made do not pay more then half of what your retail cost in the purchase was spent on. Sound like function pad or upper console I don't know if you can purchase the function pad, but you may have to purchase the entire console and that may quite expensive.

Nordic Track EXP 1000XI belt not working.

1) lube the deck belt,according the maintenance routing
2) lube the rollers bearing
3) measure the input voltage motor, if there are the motor need repair
4) measure the output voltage board, if there are NOT the board is faulty.see the block

How do i raise nordic track treadmill?

if that is where it catches then that is how far it goes there is no adjustments. Make sure the incline is the whole way down

Nordic Track exp 2000I. Consol lights, buttons do not work.

If the console lights up but the buttons don't work, then unfortunately it's probably the console and they're not repairable that I know of. You may want to check the wiring harness and the connections at the console and at the controller under the motor hood. Pull them apart and check for bent pins. If they look good, the console is most likely bad.

Nordic Track Treadmill will not run

If console lights up but doesnt respond when buttons are pressed, you more than likely have a console problem. Key pad issue would be my best guess.
