Hope this helps I had same irratating problem
1. The RP200 is designed to automatically synchronize its calendar clock once it is brought within a range of 1500km of the Frankfurt DCF77 radio signal. When the RP200 is brought within this range, its auto-control mechanism will override all manual settings.
2. The clock automatically starts scanning the RF 433MHz signal after new batteries are inserted in the main unit. When receiving the RF 433MHz radio signal, the Radio Tower symbol starts to blink. A complete reception generally takes about 10 minutes, depending on the strength of the radio signal.
3. When the reception is complete, the Radio Tower symbol will stop blinking and remain solid
4. For an optimal reception, place the clock away from metal objects and electrical appliances (i.e. television, computer, monitor, etc) to minimize interference.
Notes:
• The unit will receive the RCC signals every day at 2am.
• The RCC signal can also be triggered by holding the key for 2
seconds in time mode.
• When the unit is searching or receiving the RCC signal (which lasts
about 5 minutes), none of the keys is working except the key.
• Press and hold the key for 2 seconds if you wish to stop to the
RCC signal search.
If the RP200 is brought outside the range of the Frankfurt DCF77 radio signal or if the signal is interfered, please set the time and date manually according to the instructions below. If the unit is located within the radio-controlled range, you may want to customize some of the clock settings.
Note: When no key is pressed for more than one minute, the unit returns to time mode (time, date and temperature display
World Time Clock
This function allows you to adjust the clock to a time zone. It is
particularly useful for travelers. Set the clock to the city you are located in, or to a city in the same time zone.
1. In time mode, press [MODE] twice to select the world time clock.
2. Press the key to select the city in which you are located.
3. Press to adjust the summer saving time function.
4. Press and hold [SET] to set the world time as the local time. When the local time is the same as the world time, the icon flashes.

How do i reset the 24-hour time to 12-hour time on a Brookstone alarm clock

Dozens of models to choose from. All questions on Fixya need 'make model (what it is)' as the first 3 words.

Here are some guesses. The 'control cover' is where you put the back-up battery.

To change the 12/24 hour time format, open the CONTROL COMPARTMENT COVER on the bottom of the clock and adjust the 12/24 TIME FORMAT switch to the desired format .

I have an ACURITE 00590A1-RX. My time is off by 10 minutes. i don't have my manual and would like to know how to reset it. If possible, tell me how to download a manual.

From the manual, such as it is:

Set the Time Manually:
If you want to set your alarm clock a little ahead or if the unit ever loses time for any reason, the time can be set manually by following these steps.
1) Press and hold the "CH./SET" button for seven seconds to begin the manual time set mode. (2 BEEPS) The hour will flash on and off.
2) Adjust each setting by pressing the "+" or "-" buttons. Confirm and move on to the next setting by pressing the "CH./SET" button.
MANUAL TIME ADJUST SEQUENCE: hour, minute, year, month, date

This works for me. You have to be sure to keep pressing the CH/SET button for the full seven seconds -- the first beep the the clock gives you will only allow you to set the time zone and DST function.

Hi Karen,

Sounds like a neat clock!
I can't find anything about this clock. Other projection clocks set the time change automatically. What happens when you try to push the + button. Does it set the time ahead?

Also, what does it do when you press "kight"?

Karen, if I can't help you with this, please post again to let someone else have a try.

Please write back and let me know what happens with these buttons.

Good luck,

How do we keep our Panasonic KX-T7731 from changing back to night mode? I recently reset the time and every time I do it changes to night mode. How do I permanently set my phone system on day mode?

This has about 5 different conditions, so let me start somewhere.

Pretending your 7731 is connected to a recent Panasonic KSU, like a TA series, you have the ability to set the time by hand, or CID delivered in the first call after 2 or 3 AM will do it. If the sender is still on standard time (typical with VoIP delivered CID), then it will reset the clock to a different time (-1 hour) every day and it will be noticed if you set the clock and the first call of the day follows.

In addition, via programming from the main phone, you can set manual or automatic switching for day, night, and lunch modes. That procedure is outlined in the Programming Manual for your system, but it involves setting the clock times in Maintenance console 1.4 or programs 006 and 007.

If you absolutely want to never have to deal with clocks or night mode, then set 006 to manual and dial 781# on the intercom from the main phone (x101).

Note that this is only the solution for TA series KSU's.

I just had a representative from the Geek Squad set up my Epson WorkForce 633 Fax/Printer/Copier. The time that we set up is not what I wanted. I want a 12 hour set up, and I need to reset the clock on...

Below you will find the instructions straight out of the manual. I have also put a link to the whole searchable HTML manual at the bottom of this post Enter the Date and Time Before setting the date and time, you should select the appropriate Daylight Saving Time setting for your region. This setting lets you easily set the clock one hour ahead or one hour back when the time change takes place. 1. Press the fax.6.7.1.jpg Setup button. 2. Select Printer Setup. You see this screen: fax.6.7.2.jpg 3. Select Daylight Saving Time. 4. Select Summer if your region uses Daylight Saving Time and it's currently in effect. (DST is effective from spring through summer.) Otherwise select Winter to turn off the setting. Note:
When you change the setting from Winter to Summer, the clock is automatically set ahead by one hour. When you change it from Summer to Winter, the clock is set back. The setting is not automatic; you need to change it each season. 5. Select Date/Time. You see this screen: fax.6.7.3.jpg 6. Select the date format. You see this screen: fax.6.7.4.jpg 7. Use the numeric keypad to change the date, then press OK. fax.6.7.5.jpg 8. Select the time format. fax.6.7.6.jpg 9. Use the numeric keypad to change the time, then press OK. 10. Press fax.6.7.7.jpg Back until you return to the home screen. Epson Work Force 633 Manual Hope this helps. Zeppelinx12

Changing the time

you can go to http://www2.oregonscientific.com/assets/manuals2/bar338pa.pdf to see or print the user's manual.

If you don't want to get the manual, here's what you do to fix it. . . . .
*note: you need to do this anytime you change the batteries.

1) open the battery cover
2) on the left side you'll see 3 little buttons labeled a)zone, b)C/F c)reset
3) push the reset
4)push the zone button until your time zone is highlighted on the front display
5) look at the front display & if you see a blinking "radio signal" icon at upper left of time numerals
don't do anything else. The time, date, etc. will automatically synchronize your clock with the US Atomic Clock. This could take up to 10 minutes. As long as the "radio signal" icon is blinking, it's working on it. When the icon doesnt' blink, it's set. Cool, huh?
6) if the area you live in can't receive the signal from the Atomic Clock, instead of a blinking "radio signal", you'll see just a bare antennae. Since you probably set your clock manually, that's what it shows now before you do anything.
7) after you push reset & set the time zone do NOT touch any other buttons to set anything!!! (I know it's difficult to leave things alone, but just sit on your hands). Pushing the "clock" button or the up & down arrows will stop the radio signal & change to manual functions. Look at the signal icon mentioned in 5) and 6) above. If you only have the bare antennae icon. . . . . go ahead & set the time/date yourself. You have no signal.

Enjoy your clock!

Accuwave DS Clock

The radio may not be able to get a strong enough or clear enough signal to process (night is best away from TV, computers and radios).  To regain "control" of the clock, take the battery out, wait 30 seconds and then reinstall it.  This will reset the clock.  You can then manually set the clock.
Press SET for a few seconds until the hour starts flashing in the display.  Then press the ADJUST button to set the hour.  Press SET to move to the different functions (Hour -> Minutes -> Seconds-> Month -> Date -> Year) each time using the ADJUST button to correct the setting.  Finally press MODE to exit the setting mode.
If the time zone is incorrect for your area (default is PST), press MODE to enter the Alarm Time Mode; then press SET to flip through the time zones; then press MODE again to exit.
The little "reset" is for use if the LCD display doesn't come on when the battery is changed. It doesn't affect any of the clock settings per se.
