I had the same problem on my 06' (Fuel injected). It was the copper filament inside one of the wire going to the injectors. It took 3 visits to the dealer and 4 hours of investigation to find it.

Question edited for a lot more clarity, plus typos.
Question moved from 'Gas Motorcycles' to model category.

You need to track the buzzing, but these come in either carburetor or Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) My guess is that yours is fuel injected and the buzzing is the fuel pump relay.

Hi, Dyneen the answer to this question is way above my pay grade for this situation, I would call or visit my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts enquiry.

98 Road king...Driving along at normal speeds and normal temp it will just cut out. Pull in clutch and pop in neutral it starts right back up... any ideas?? Thanx

If you have carb, it may need to be adjusted,
Or fuel injectors if you have them.
Could be plugged blow-valve
Valves may need to be adjusted
