Lens errol 211

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ... Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to this can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some things that you can do that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try.

What dose lens error 211 mean?

A repair. There is a fault within the lens mechanism.

Please also try to upload new firmware: I doubt that it will solve the issue, but the alternative is a repair.

Connect the camera with the computer.
Turn the camera on.
Click onto the link and follow the instructions.

M425-12 lens error

This is probably THE single most common failure among digital cameras. There's a halfway chance of fixing it yourself, described here: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html

It has a lens error. Everytime the camera is turned on it beeps and clicks constantly. It eventually shuts off after displaying "Lens error, restart camera." on the screen.

My digital camera say lens error:21 how do i repiar the lens? sanyo vpc-e760 My SANYO VPC-S650 says lens error:507 everytime I turn the camera on. The lens has not returned back to normal position, and...

The lens has a servo fault. This can be either the lens motor, the helicoil in the lens is jamming, or the servo drive electronics has a fault.

You will have to send the camera for service if you want to fix this. I doubt you can fix this yourself unless you have access to the parts, and have the training and tools to do this type of service.

It says lens error

its probably broken but the black slides that cover the lens if you play with it alot or push them in when the camera's turned off the lens mess up or if you've dropped the camera too much the lens break on the inside.
