Wifi connection & itouch

Download the itouch Smart Watch app from the app store or Google Play and pair your phone to the iTouch air using Bluetooth

Has your home wifi got SSID broadcasting disabled? Also check if you can connect to any other wifi points, if you cannot see any others, there may be a fault with the wifi board of your itouch

Turn on your Itouch, then touch "Settings", you will see "Wifi"...find the wifi that you want to connect to and touch it to activate the wifi.

I had exactly the same problem with a brand new 3rd gen iTouch. It showed it was connected to the network but wouldn't access anything (invalid argument etc). I tried everything but no joy. Eventually I fixed it by changing the router's encryption from WEP to WPA2-PSK. Fixed it like magic. Where there had been no router or DNA data before, they were suddenly filled in. The key was different but was still on the bottom of the router. I had to re-enter the key on my wireless laptop but that was a small price.

You can get into the router set-up page through your web browser. I found a guide on You Tube.

You need any router or wireless access point to conenct your ipod touch to the internet or even your home network.

These days most wired routers will also have the option of wireless. You can check this by entering the routers configuration page. Usually by typing in 192.168.1.1 into the address bar. Or more simply, google you wired router model to check.

Bluetooth is not currently available for connection in the ipod touch or iphone. The iphone supports it, but for bluetooth headsets. Therefore, regardless of the fact that your mac pro (very nice computer by the way) can support it, your ipod touch can't take advantage of other bluetooth devices.

go to settings... and view the connection... select the little arrow to the right of the name of the connection.. and select "forget this connection" turn the wifi off... then back on.. and connect back on the network and it should work. it fixed my mine. i had the same issue. goodluck

Yeah you can get wifi at places like hotels,some like fast food resturants , schools if you still go to high school or you can buy wifi at your house

Go to your computer and type in 192.168.1.1 it should take you to your router's main menu. Then search for something like Wireless Conection or Wireless Config, it should then tell you your roouter's name and password.

Hey, i had the same problem. I you already have a wifi connection and it still says, "Safari is not connected to internet" Goto settings. Click the blue arrow next to the wifi name, scroll all the way down and click renew lease. It should probably get the IP address right and you'll be good.
