After charging the other day, i went to turn it on and message came up "insert SIM". i checked the card. i even took out the SIM and wiped it down before i put it back as well as the phone contacts. i have run out of ideas. can you help me please?
My phone always says insert sim. everything else appears to be working an somehow it managed to detect another bluetooth device but I cannot get into the settings or my contacts list which is saved on my phone. I have tried different sims but to no avail. When the phone is in offline mode, press the power button and you will get the options in list view. Choose the option General and the phone will become online.
1. let the battery fully discharged without connecting to power supply,
2. remove memory card
3. remove battery
4. remove sim card
5. insert the sim card
6. do not insert the memory card
7. reset the battery
8. connect to power for charging for 24 hours
9. switch on and it will work
that s because there may be some problem in the sim holder or the sim holder is in loose contact ...
if you are good at opening the handset then just open it and remove all
and clean the sim holder with some alcoholic solvent and refit that
correctly and then get your mobile phone working for the sim cards ...
if you are not good at opening then you can just contact the technician
he will make it right but he may take some service charge ...
you will get the "insert sim" message if your sim card has got broken just have a check with the sim card too by inserting that to another cell.. and you may also face this problem if your sim validity is expired ... so just try inserting this sim card to another cell before that ...

1. Is there a SIM card in the phone? Is the SIM card from the same carrier/provider you got the phone from? Was the phone purchased as part of a plan or separately?
2. I see the not charging message a lot with my v551 that I had. I usually adjusted the inserted connector (after insertion) and 85% of the time, the phone recognized the power coming through.
If this fails, then try another power adapter. If after trying a new power adapter does not work, then the pins on the phone has sustained some damage.

is your phone been dropped or got wet? if unable to charge, when using a wall charger, try different outlets. if using onl one charger, tr different chargers. if it won't work, try other compatible batteries if you would get a charging message. if does not work, have your phone checked with a service center
dear for not charging first check ur charger if ok then check and clean charging jeck. even not ok chen the status of solder of jeck if it is unsolder then sold it. even if not ok then check the charging fuse 0 ohams if meter shows continuty then ok other wise replace fuse.
for inser sim card check connection from sill card ic(like combice resistor)
