My sansa fuze has frozen, and wont turn off, or go

Did you try to reset the player? You do this by sliding and holding the power button on the side for about 15-20 seconds. I have a Sansa Clip which resets in the same way. Best of luck!

update it firmware (download firmware from sandisk site)

You need to reset the player --- to reset the player:
1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds.
2. Release the Power switch.
3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.

Try to take battery out and put it back in again that would shut the hole thing down and restart it.sounds like you have a corrupt file on your player

hold the switch for about 20 seconds

hi my sansa fuze is frozen and wont turn off!

If your Sansa Fuze MP3 player becomes frozen or unresponsive, you may need to reset the unit.
To do so, simply slide and hold the Power button on the side of the unit. Hold it for about 10 seconds and the player should reset.
If this does not work, I recommend plugging the device into a computer, or charger.

The Sansa doesn't play music through the USB port. You can connect the Sansa to your stereo via the Sansa's headphone jack.
