I receive Err 99, it says to re install battery or

hi the err 99 usually stands for shutter problem. however, there are several different causes. The first is defective shutter unit, second is defective power diaphragm unit in lens, and main PCB defective. You have to bring to your local repair shop. they would charge you around $65 to $235 depend on what it really cause problem. you can verify lens or body problem. try to operate without lens if still see err 99 when you push button. then it is body problem... Err 99, but lens-to-body problems are common- thought error 99 is a bit of a catch all- generally a lens and body conflict. And also Err 99 means that something wrong happened, but then it cleared out before it could be further determined.
