Lost password for administrator how do I reset

  • 1 more comment
  • Anonymous May 15, 2010

I was able to access and change the administrative password by clicking on F8 after turning on the computer, clicking on the OS, clicking on safe mode, which then gave me admin login and I was able to change the password and access the computer and now I can do whatever I need to do on my computer through administrator. No software was needed.

In fact, when we lost Windows password the best way is admin password or reset disk. If you have one of them you can try them at first. But when all you don't have I think the quickest and the best way will be reset software. For my experience, for reset software I prefer to Anmosoft Windows Password Reset, which can help reset, change or create a user password, and you can know more from:http://www.resetwindowspassword.com

Windows admin password lost is a normal thing nowadays. The important thing is which way you will choose to change the lost password and how do you change it for your computer's data security. Reset disk can be recommended firstly, because it is quick and easy. If you have no one your second best choice will be reset software. Windows Login Recovery can be as an example. You can know from:http://www.windowsloginrecovery.com

If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user account with administrative privileges you can log into that account and change your original user account's password from the User Accounts applet in Control Panel.
If you don't have another account like this set up or don't have the password to it, you'll need to log into the built-in Administrator account.
In Vista Home, boot the computer into Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly tapping the F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will get you to the right menu.
Navigate using your Up arrow key; the mouse will not work here.
Once in Safe Mode, you will see the normally hidden Administrator account.
The default password is a blank. Other, you can try to use Windows Password Reset .

IF you are unable to access the Administrator account, then one of the last things she can do is crack the password.
Search for and download Windows Password Unlocker .
Burn it to a CD or usb then boot to that CD on her computer.
From there on it should be "kinda" self explainable.
If not there are a bunch of tutorials on google search on "how to use Windows Password Unlocker? "
