SOURCE: I have lost the software to disney mix stick. Please help

Hi,

Please confirm what operating system your computer runs (like Windows XP or Vista). Also, confirm if you are looking for its drivers or some other special software.

If your system is running Windows XP or Vista, you can simply plug the device in and it will automatically appear in Start > My Computer (or Computer). You can then simply drop your music files (such as MP3s) straight onto the device.

With regards.

Disney Mix Stick 2.0 MP3 Player

Question:
How do I add songs to my Mix Stick 2.0?

Answer:
Hook the Mix Stick 2.0 up to an available USB port on your computer using the provided USB cable. Once the computer finishes loading the drivers for the Mix Stick 2.0, you can open the My Computer icon (or Computer in the Start Menu if you have Vista) and see the Disney Mix Stick 2.0 icon or the Removable Disk icon. You can then drag and drop your songs into the Mix Stick 2.0 or use the Sync feature in Windows Media Player to sync your existing tracks from Windows Media Player to the Mix Stick 2.0. Be sure to properly disconnect the Mix Stick 2.0 from your computer. For further assistance with this issue, please watch our video tutorial located here for a step-by-step walkthrough of this process.

My disney mix stick wont play the songs i downloaded on it

You need to see what is the file extension is the songs you downloaded. Then on the internet is several type converters to MP3. So basically save to your computer and convert and then reinstall. If you give me the file formats I will find one for you.

Disney mix stick software

You don't need the disk that came with the Mix Stick. It's just a plug in that interfaces with Windows Media Player and it completely optional. Without the software you can still use the Sync function in Windows Media Player to synchronize songs to the player.

Mix stick wont play music

What's a mix stick? We need your model # and manufacturer. Are you talking about the Disney Mix Stick? Make sure the files are in mp3 format - i know it says that it will play WMA files, but that was before DRM encryption came along. Also, this player is not compatible with iTunes. This product does not have a manual available that I can find - IF AND ONLY IF your songs are already in mp3 format, and the player is still not working, double check the manual to see if there is a reset button.

If all else fails, this website will give you helpful info, including the phone number to get help on this product:

Disney Mix Stick

Plug into USB port. Use Windows Explorer to view contents of your PC. You will see two drives associated with your Mix Max. The first is your internal memory the second is your SD card. Drag and drop files into this file. These can then be played by choosing card from menu

Disney Mix Stick

You don't actually need the software. You can still use the Sync screen in Windows Media Player to add songs to the player without the software. The manufacturer has a PDF download of the manual at http://digiblue.com/customer-service/downloads/index.html
