Belkin F5D8236-4 v3.00.02 firmware this is the secound router from different companies that has had this problem. From the box if i set or change any settings be it password or port forwarding or time or mac filtering it will not allow any connections out over modem only to the router it self other router is a dlink wbr 2310 hw ver. b1 fw ver 2.03 have run ddwrt on wrt54gs & g and made my own jtag cables just fine so i have been around the block on making changes in windows and routers but any help would be great.

there are several reasons why this happens. dont use belkins utility use windows utility it will ask you if you right click the icon in the tray.

had same prob. 3 wired an 1 wireless . wireless would not conn. an others lose connection . after cable upgrade it was in router upgrade changed settings in router i had to call maker of comps an get them to reset ip adds took almost 3 hours to get them all working again they will do a remote access help by useing your ip threw your internet company hope this helps

THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE BELKIN RTR AND THE 660 HAVE THE SAME IP ADDRESS THE QUICKEST FIX IS TO RENAME THE LAN IP ADDRESS OF THE BELKIN RTR
