Cant use the thomson remote rct4157s dvd player. None of the functions work when i selet the switch to dvd

ok on dvd player u wann use hdmi cable direct to tv ok then select input hdmi on tv remote to see picture

I strongly advise against a unirversal remote as i have had several hundred customers come to me asking why wont it work on their unit. If you can get the current remote repaired or are able to locate another remote, i strongly recommend that course of action.
