I have a Zanussi ZDQ 595 electirc double oven, 3 years old. The other day it blew a fuse, and since then the lower fan oven does not get hot. If I put it on grill only, half of the element goes red. Suspecting it was the element, I swapped the elements over from top oven to bottom oven - this made no difference. I then swapped the thermostat from the top oven to the bottom, and still, no difference. The lower oven lights, the fan spins, the 'oven on' lamp lights, but it just does not get hot...
The top oven works fine and is still fitted with the thermostat and element from the bottom... Any clues anyone?

You need to replace the round fan oven element located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover where the fan is located.
Testimonial: "Thankyou - i did not know there was another element in there!! I cannot believe how expensive these ovens are considering the simplicity of their construction and low cost of the components inside.. Thanks again..!"
