I need to put a date stamp on my photos and need to know how to do it.

Camera records the date and time each picture is taken, storing this information somewhere in the JPG file, so you can stamp photos after uploading them on a PC. You can use Time To Photo software. It can stamp photos automatically in a batch.

If the photo was already taken then the date stamp is a part of the photo, exactly like any faces that may be in there. You can remove the date using photo-editing software, but whatever was behind the date is lost forever.

photos are our archives of memories but sometime we do forget the taken date of an image. Sometime we feel a need of exact date and time the image was taken. The available meta data of an image not always give us good result and we need to be somewhat techie to understand that. So, to keep thing simple it will be great idea to put a date-time stamp on it.

photo date-stamp helps you here. It allows you to put date-time stamp in an image as well as a batch of images. You can choose color, font and font size to style the time stamp. It also allows you to chose the stamp position such as Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left and Bottom Right.....

Photos for digital camera are automatically date stamped. To view the information in Windows, right click the photo you would like to know the time of, and press 'Properties.' Selects the 'Details' tab. And you should be able to find the date in there.

The camera does not have a feature for stamping dates onto the photographs, but the information is stored with every picture. Just about any photo viewing program should be able to display it, and any photo editing program should let you put it on the picture.

The date stamp only works in "Postcard" resolution. Press the "Func Set" button, then scroll down to the bottom to select postcard resolution. Then press the menu button. Select the "Camera" menu, then scroll down to the the Date Time Stamp selection to turn it on.

I have the same camera and the only way to do this is to first, Make sure you have set the date and time correctly on your camera. Take a picture or, view picture you want date & time stamped. Press the circular 'Menu/Set' button. Press down arrow to playback mode. Press right arrow on 'text stamp'. Choose whether to apply stamp to single or multiple photos. Press 'Menu/set' to select photo to stamp. Choose which stamps to add. Date, time, age etc.. Press 'Menu/set' again and select 'Yes' in box. The only problem with this is that it will resize your photos to 3m, which can make them grainier if you took them at a higher res. Gillian

Unfortunately the camera nor the software can put date/time on photos. Do a search for date stamp photo or Irfanview software
