I just got a Wii. I have a tv/dvd combo unit. There are 3 input section on the back. The TV's - DVD cables are plugged into input 1. I have tried plugging the Wii into all three. It seems to work just fine in Input 1 and 2 and not at all in input 3. However, I have yet to see any color. Have I hooked the calbes up incorrectly? What should I do to get color on my Wii?

The cable colors have to match the tv ones if you have different colors on cables then look for the label on the cables saying video or audio (red)=audio (white)=other audio (yellow)=video EXAMPLE if the cable colors are different than the tv then if the label on the cables say video and the color is blue etc. then you have to put it on the yellow putin on the tv no matter the color. If it dosent work then try holding the cables in many angles try pulling them or anything unlit they work get something to hold them up if that dosent work then i think you should buy new cables. We have a Philips flat screen tv model# 26HFL5830D/27. When I am plugging the wii and the DVD player only I see is white /black screen. Tv works fine and the color is fine, just the game and the playe

One thing you could try is a different cable between the wii and the TV, also if your TV has multiple spots to plug in you should try plugging in to a different spot.

My Wii isn't in color.

YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR RCA CONNECTIONS, THERE IS NO REASON YOU SHOULDNT HAVE COLOR. MAKE SURE THEY ARE COLOR CODED PROPERLY ON THE BACK OF THE TV.

Plug in the wii system and everything comes in black and white

Try plugging it into another scart socket, this sometimes happens when a tv does not support 60hz. the result is a screen that has no colour. You could try just plugging it onto the seperate av inputs. Most tv's these days have one scart that will work ok and in colour.

No color

Try to change the settings on your Wii to play in 480i or 1080p witchever your tv is.
It sounds like a easy system configuration adjustment. Check both your Tv settings and if your using HD on the Wii try using just R/g/b (red, green, blue) wires. I would belive that the settings on your wii or your tv arent correct, just play around with these settings with the wii hooked up and on.
GOOD LUCK let me know if their isnt anything more I can do. MORE DETAIL CAN HELP YOU OUT because their might be 1 small thing you didn't do and can cause this.

Hi . i have had this sorta problem when i play the resident evil game. I find that if you go to your menu on your startup screen and change the screen resolution it should work. some games require certain television res to allow play.
