First I would open Internet Options in the Control Panel, click on the Connections tab, click LAN Settings and deselect everything that is checked. If you still can't go to a site, try Google Chrome or any other browser to see if they work.

It could also be that you have Limited Connectivity. Click Network and Internet Settings and see if check your status there.

hey dear,
thanks for your time.... now, as i understand you correctly.. even though you seem to be connected ot the internet wirelessly, you are not able to pull out webpages right?

Try to power cycle the modem.. turn off modem and the computer for about 5 minutes... then try to power it on.. wait for the lights on the modem to turn green and then try to connect... you should be connected. good luck

Got forget to rate me....... take care.

Cannot connect explorer to the internet. my wireless says connected, but page keeps stating, "internet explorer cannot display the webpage"

Have you tried typing www.google.com into the address bar.
I have had this problem when connecting a new PC. It is usually set to log onto MSN and this has caused me problems.
Also try control panel / internet options / connections / lan settings. and making sure the automatically detect settings is ticked

When I log on to the web site it will come up, but wnt stay up.

It could be a problem with your internet explorer software. Open control panel on your pc, look for internet options in there. At the top of internet options click advanced, in the advanced tab click the button that says reset. Reset interent explorer settings. This will put the browser back to its default state. If that doesnt help i would recommend a full virus and spyware scan

My faebook says Internet Explorer cannot display

Hi bubblezz,
Why don't you try another free Web Browser like Firefox, Safari, Opera or Chrome? See if Facebook loads in these browsers. Internet Explorer has a record of being inadequate in most cases. If you can access your account on the other web browsers, it may be a problem with your Internet Explorer settings.

Problems logging into facebook

If you are using Internet Explorer 8. Best to downgrade or uninstall Internet Explorer 8. Better use the Version 7. If you still have problems.. there is some scripting issue ... try double clicking that yellow icon and post it here. First off... try to download the latest Java runtime environment. Next... update your flash player. Next.. go to the internet options by clicking on Tools then Internet Options. from there go to the advanced tab. click on reset. if that does not work in internet options go to the programs tab then click on manage addons button. Look for those items that are disabled and try to enable the java ones. after that restart your Internet explorer.
