Chain brake is jammed, chain will not move when cranked

Cranks fine, but when I give it a little gas, the chain won't move. I've tried pushing and pulling back on the chain brake bar, won't budge. What can I do?

Take the side cover off of the clutch area and watch while you try to move the brake. Something may be broken or out of place. If the brake band which is fitted around the clutch drum is damaged, it may be causing non-release.

D110 won’t start got fire won’t even click , like some safety switch is not disengaging

Starting instructions per manual.
  1. Make sure bypass rod is pushed in.
  2. Sit in seat.
  3. Make sure mower is disengaged. (See Engaging and Disengaging Mower in the OPERATING section.)
  4. Lock the park brake.
  5. For automatic models, put transmission shifter into center slot.
  6. Parking brake - ON

If it still doesn't crank, cycle the safetys.
  1. Parking brake - OFF/ON
  2. PTO - ON/OFF
  3. For automatic models, move shifter out of center slot then back.
  4. Seat switch - Rise from seat then sit firmly.
If still no crank, check battery charge is at least12.5VDC. If battery ok, then likely a safety switch has failed or misaligned. Try rotate and hold ignition switch at start position and see if moving safeties allows crank. Move out/in seat, pull PTO switch on push off, move brake to off then back on. Other possible causes include fuse, ignition switch, relay, poor circuit continuity (power, control, or ground).

The car starts, but the gearshift wont move from park

Usually a problem with the brake switch or the solenoid that locks the shifter in park.
That circuit would need to be tested.

Ever since i ran my isusu rodeo out of gas, it will crank but it does not want to crank. I've add additives to clean the injectors, i've changed the EGR sensor, with very little help. cld u give...

maybe it didnt run out of gas but just shut down, if it did run out it may have sucked up dirt from the botoom of the tank causing the fuelpump to lock up, what you can try to see if the pump starts again is to spray starting fluid into throtle body and cranking the engine, the engine should start and will die out after fluid is burnt but may stay running if power stays to pump and it frees up, you may have to try this a few times, if you spray and it doesnt start then you may have a diffrent problem. make sure to have someone hold pedal to floor and spray for 3sec, then release gas pedal connect hose to throtlebody and try to start. good day.

How can I bypass the starter in my car(manual trans) so it will start? I had the battery checked and it's fine.

  • If the engine cranks ("rrr-rrr-rrr") when you turn the key, then the problem isn't the starter or the battery.Plan to have at least one person sitting in the driver's seat and one or two persons pushing.Turn off all accessories (radio, wipers, lamps).Turn the key to the "on" position.Depress the clutch pedal with your foot.Put the transmission in first or second gear.Release the hand brake and the foot brake.Note that the people pushing need to get the car rolling as fast as they can. This works best down a hill or an incline.Release the clutch pedal while giving the engine a little gas with the gas pedal once the car is moving about as fast as you can run. The engine should start

Poulan chain saw. After starting, chain drive won't move

If equipped, the chain brake may be engaged. Its the lever just ahead of the fore handle. (pull back on it)

If the clutch assy. were frozen, then the chain would move all the time.

    Good luck
