2 letters get typed while pressing one key for some characters. There are some keys in pairs in which if i type any of the key, both the letters gets typed. i.e. if I type s, sd gets typed or evens if I type d, sd gets typed. Some pairs which gives such problems are sd, we, xc, 23, @#. All other keys are working fine. But for the above mentioned keys, both letters gets typed while pressing any key of that pair.

Keyboard typing multiple letters/ numbers when pressing certain keys.

Keyboards on Windows computers can repeat letters when key press sensitivity is too high. This problem can be rectified by adjusting your keyboard's repeat frequency. Once this is lowered, key presses will occur slower and you will not have the letters repeated instantly.

Click"Start," then "Control Panel." Click "Hardware and Sound," followed by "Keyboard." Move the "Repeat delay" slider further to the left below the "Character repeat" option. The further left the slider moves, the longer the delay will be before a character repeats.

Hye mr expert...Here i have some question about my samsung netbook n220 series. For your info...actually this problem never happen before. The problem is some of my key not working & some of my key...

Hi,

The problem with your Netbook seems to be that you have turned "NUMBER LOCK" or "NUM LOCK" on. This causes some of the letter keys, e.g U,I,O,J,K,L,M to be printed as numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5,6.

To turn this off, hold down the "FN" key (near the bottom left of the keypad) and then press "F11" and then release both keys.

Please try this and post back if you need further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

When typing does not print whole letter or doesn't print at all.

it would help if i knew exactly what model # we are talking about. but try this. look closely at your ribbon film after you type some characters. are the letters overlapping themselves? if so, press and hold the "code" key down while pressing the period key. let up and try typing. if that doesn't help, write back with model # and maybe i can assist further.
