Hi, could you send me the complete model and serial numbers from the tag on the range? There are some letters after the JES8850 that are needed to look up the correct parts.

Thanks!

How do I set the 24 hour clock back to 12

Press 0 (Set up options) and then 4. Then press Auto Set (on the right of the clock) to change the setting. Then press any touch pad except Cancel to exit the setup menu and save the change. (Alternatively, press 0 and 9 followed by Auto Set and another key to return all features to the Default. 12-hour time is the default for the Jenn Air range.) Jenn Air has the manuals for most of their products on their support site, http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/product_literature/search.jsp?siteCd=JA_EN_US . I looked at the manual for the JES8850AAB which is available here: http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%208113P367-60.pdf. The information on setting the options is on page 12 (page 13 of the PDF). Note you'll need Adobe Reader or a similar program to access the manual.

I hope this helps.

Jenn-air electric range model JES9800AAB some kypad # not working

Unless they start working again after it has a chance to dry out the touch panel will have to be replaced. This happens when excess moisture gets between the very thin layers of the membrane.

Touch Pad

Hello , your problem is the switch membrain , it sends signals to your control board.
you may be able to clean the ribon cable on the control board end but it may just need a new membrain.
The switch membrain is the part all the buttons are located on and they go out often on jenn-air ranges.
let me know if you have any further questions.

Electronic touch pad problems

From what your telling me, you have tried all the numbers and only 1,4 and 7 beep when touched. Also, the timer display was set at 0:00 when you started. Also, you followed the manual's instructions first, and looked in the back of your manual in the trouble section, and found no answer.
Did you timer ever work? If not, you should be able to a free replacement of the control panel module from an authorized Jenn-Air repair company. It may be a good idea to contact Jenn-Air first.
The timer shows only hours and minutes when first started. For example 2:05 is two hours and five minutes. It goes into the seconds mode only during the last minute.
