Driver for lg ku250 phone

Its very easy to solve this problem, since vista have new driver management unlike old xp's which need external drivers for all new hardware installed on it, a vista does not.

-- just plug the phone in a data service mode. (on usb connection manager)
-- when vista ask for driver just let the vista search for it.
-- and choose LG xxx modems if asked.

Voila i connected to internet.

for pcsuite like managing sms i dont have solution.
i didnt find problems when accesing my microSD. my laptop recognize it as external drive.

Please send me the proper driver for LG KU250 cellular phones wich is xp and vista compatible.

LG KU250 Vista installation

Insert CD

Do NOT use Autoplay or the installation box that pops up onscreen

Open the Computer icon on the desktop or click on the start menu and then choose computer.

Right click on the CD/DVD drive (LG PC Sync)

Select Open

Enter the folder for USBdriver

Then open the driver folder

Right click on setup.exe and choose properties

Select the compatability mode

Place a tick in the box besides ‘windows XP service pack 2’

Click OK

Double click setup.exe and install the program

Do this for LGPCSync and LGPhoneManager.

Close the windows and you are all set to go.

Do NOT install or try to install the PCCheck or any of the other icons. ONLY the folders listed above.

Note: ensure the phone is NOT turned on and plugged into the computer.

Do NOT sync the phone with Windows Media Player. This pops up if the micro SD card is inserted in the phone.

To use the LG TU 550 as a modem for internet

Start, Control Panel, system, device manager (on left), Modems, LG Modem, advanced.

Enter this command in the intialisation string box.

+cgdcont=1,”ip”,”  telstra.internet”

Then OK

Start, Control Panel, network and sharing centre

On the left hand side

Set up a connection or network

Connect to the internet

“set up a connection anyway” (if it detects an exisitng connection this will pop up)

Set up a dial up connection

No Username or Password

Phone number is *99#

Follow prompts through to finish setup.

Right click on the icon and choose ‘send to desktop’

Use this to connect your wireless internet.
