My Webcam Microsoft vx 1000 doesn't work with ubuntu

Visit this link to download driver for Microsoft VX-1000 webcam, select type as WEBCAM in drop-down list & search for specific model no. lifecam VX 1000 in Number 2 drop-down list, then select operating system you are using, Start downloading driver & install it.
