Is that the only device that is blowing a fuse? if it is the only thing blowing your fuse you may need to replace the charger. check the fuse to make sure it is the correct size ( usually 10 amp). check the power adapter to make sure there are no loose connections or anything in the plug that doesn't belong there. unplug the radio from the adapter and plug the adapter in without the radio see if the fuse blows . if it blows replace the adapter. if it doesn't blow the fuse check the adapter to make sure it is the right one make sure the polarity is correct

EVERYTIME I HOOK UP MY CB IT BLOWS A FUSE -- ANYONE KNOW WHY ?

Could be a bad ground, or you could be plugging into a circuit that already had to much on it. Typically you want to plug a cb into something like your cigarette lighter circuit.

Radio stopped working when we hit a bump in the road, we did get it back on but now the fuse number 4 for the cigarette lighter and mirror won't stay on, it keeps blowing everytime we plug something into...

Hi sounds like you have a dodgy power wire thats making contact causing fuse to blow, i would start by checking everthing on that circuit with the radio being first as that would be the most common cause

I have a 2000 gmc yukon denali and everytime i push my ciggarete lighter in it blows the fuse and my radio also stops working

Hi,
Replace the cigarette lighter. Parts houses have the right one for your Yukon.
The lighter itself shorts out so when you push it in it creates an immediate dead short . Fuse Blows.
Thanks for using Fix Ya.

The fuse for the cigarette lighter blows everytime I replace it? any suggestions to what the problem could be?

either the lighter or something else protected by the same fuse is defective, drawing too much current and blowing the fuse. that is what it is supposed to do. if you can get at the back of the lighter, pull the wiring connector plug off and then reinstall the fuse. if it does not blow then you need a new lighter, if it continues to blow out then you need to find what else is on the fuse's circuit and disable it.

Radio fuse keeps blowing

make sure nothing in cig lighter socket..coins,etc..if nothing present, unplug cig lighter socket and replace fuse..if fuse doesn't blow,it's the socket causing fault..if it does, unplug radio, plug cig lighter back in and replace fuse..if fuse doesn't blow, radio is cause of fault..if it does, then ther is short in wiring

2004 Dodge 1500 blowing fuses

Replace the cigarette lighter. Look to find out what else is on the instument cluster circuit, as that may be the problem, or a bad cluster.
