Computer connection port?

Hi, There is a port on the Elna Xplore 8600 which is similar to a ps/2 port. I did not find any mention in the manual for it. It is not even labeled in the manual. What is it for? Can I connect right to the computer? Any other info would be great!

According to this brochure, the machine uses a PC card. http://www.brubakerssewing.com/uploads/files/8600.pdf

You would need to purchase a reader/writer unit with a rewritable memory card in the format of the embroidery machine.

Allbrands.com has the best prices - with any merchant check before purchasing as software usually cannot be returned.

Testimonial: "Thanks! I'll use a pc card and not worry about the port on the machine!"

Elna 8600 - Carriage will not move backward or forward only left and right when I try to embroider

This could be a loose connection on the circuit board or it may be a bad board, either way it should go to a tech for repair.
