That error code means an unknown error has occurred. Try cleaning the player itself, along with the CD's prior to insertion to see if that helps.

those readings are not error codes. if display wont turn off you have a prob with display board

problem....the beeps are beep beep beep beep..........contiues...........plus the computer will then not recieve signal????

Errors 00 through Error 04 check upper PCA memory locations, RAM memory locations and EEPROM checksum during the power up test sequence. If a fault is found during the power up test sequence, the appropriate error code will be displayed.
These errors messages almost always indicate an upper console problem when they are consistently displayed. Failures causing these error messages to be displayed are rare.
If the error message is consistently displayed when the unit is powered up, the upper console should be replaced.

E codes are displayed in the copy counter.To display both digits of the E code press the enter key.
E11 exposure lamp error.Possible causes exposure lamp open thermofuse open.
E12 exposure lamp error Ac drive board defective or main board defective.
