My nokia n95 would not turn on, placed it on a dry surface over night a, next morning would not turn on even when on the charger

-Possibly the charger has defect its cord.
-Try difference charger.

try to flash (software update) the phone first then opean and check for liquid inside if you can clean it with isopropanol and let it dry for a day an dthe check it

better you go to nokia service center make a good check up or try by replacing with nokia s original battery and charge for it continusly for upto 6 hrous with out switch on the phone ..... try it

That phone does charge using the USB port like other phones do. You have to use the 5v Nokia Charger that comes with the phone; it should plug-in right next to the USB port.

check battery first if ur batt is good try to reprogram ur phone to latest versionn using jaf box......

Hey, Matthew here, First thing you should have done is to take out the battary. Leave the phone to dry for 2-3 days. If this still does not work you can get some "dipping alcohol". Still with out the battery dip it into it for about 15-20seconds and leave to dry for about a day- this should work if you took out the bat but might still work even if you didn't. Hope this helps. It might be to late, but doesn't hurt to try, keep battery / sim card out, and put the phone in a freezer, if you don't have a freezer place it next to an air vent, wait over night (10 hours at least) And you should see water dripping out, warm it in your hands for about 20 seconds, dry it out with any towel / cloth place the sim card than battery in, if it doesn't turn on contact your phone company from a land-line about your insurance

you need to reflash it either at a nokia service centre or another way not sure how but on a nokia n70 it can be done with phoenix and the dead phone usb flashing option.
