Bosch shx33a05uc/14 dishes are milky with white chalky residue. Have cleaned the inside, and checked to make sure the water can exit the spray holes in the circulating parts (top and bottom). Checked that hoses are not kinked too. Seems like it's rinsing with dirty water.

White residue on dishes when the dishwasher cycle has completed, not sure why, salt is fine. Is this limescale?

Hi
Make sure that the water is being heated up by your dishwasher. Also need to make sure that the wash motor is spraying water around at full force.

Best way to check this is to start a normal cycle about 10 minutes into the cycle open the dishwasher door during the cycle. 1st observe if the water was being sprayed around as you opened the door. 2nd feel the water and see if it has heated up.
Reset or cancel the cycle and wait for the water to empty. make sure it is draining properly and also check to see if filter is clean.
I'm inclined to think your machine is not heating the water.

Glass and cutlery has a chalky white film after washing

The problem is most likely that there is still water residue at the bottom of your machine. If the machine is not fully drained it picks up some of the residue and sprays that onto the dishes during the final rinse, leaving an unhealthy and unsightly film on everything.
Remove the bottom strainers plates and make sure that the outlet pipe is not kinked, that there is nothing obstructing the pipe or the pump or selector valve. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine again before using it again.

Dishes have a chalky white residue after cleaning, especially on aluminum pots. This model was installed a little less than a year ago and the residue started appearing a few weeks ago.

My dishes come out cloudy?

If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).

Also, There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.

**Water temperature Note***

To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.

Concerning the Film.(Disregard if this is not an issue)

This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner. There are a few out there, Try Dishwasher Magic.

Rinse agent won't dispense in Maytag dishwasher

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

White Residue

most likely it is your detergent. palmolive eco is notorious for leaving a white chalky residue on dishes. try this out before calling a service tech: put unclean glasses in the dishwasher and in your soap dish and rinse cycle cup put 1/2 cup of distilled white vinegar. if it cleans (or improves) your dishes, then your detergent is the culprit.

Bosch Dishwasher

Most Bosch washability issues have to do with the machine not pumping out fully.
Check for a partial clog in the air gap:
That's the silver dome on the back of the sink. Not all homes have an air gap for the dishwasher. (Though it is highly recommended!) Lift off the silver cover. Unscrew or unclip the plastic cap on the top. Look inside. Toothpicks are often found there.
Check for debris in the sump by:
Remove the lower rack, the lower spray arm, and screens. Use a #15 Torx bit to remove the cover over the drain pump suction. Remove any debris you find.

Regarding the white residue, make sure the rinse aid is filled.
