In order to set call forwarding on this telephone, must first have the feature CFV (Call Forward Variable) on in the line. This feature can be provided by the telephone service provider.

A typical feature code for this is *72 to activate CFV and *73 to deactivate.

You can program these features on the M9316 telephone by do the following:

CFV activate

1) Press the SAVE key.
2) Then select the key where you want to program the feature.
3) Then enter *72 (optional: plus the telephone number of where you want the call to forward to).
4) Press SAVE twice.

CFV deactivate

1) Press the SAVE key
2) Then select another key where you want to program the feature.
3) Then enter *73
4) Press SAVE twice.

Be sure and label your buttons.

To use go off hook and press the key you just programmed.

If this is a new phone that you just set up, be sure that you've looked at your dial plan and have it configured correctly.

How to get caller id for missed calls for Panasonic kx-t7730

Panasonic KX-TA624/824 automatic Caller ID logging How to set up automatic Caller ID logging
in the KX-TA624 phone system with KX-T7735 phones. (for dash four and five, and KX-TA824)

System Programming:
  1. In System Program number 900, enable Caller ID for the lines you have Caller ID on. (To get into system programming, press Program * # 1234.)
  2. In System Program number 901, select your own area code and any other area codes that don't have to be dialed when making a call. The area code digits are removed from Caller ID log information so you can return a call without dialing unnecessary digits which would mess up the call.
  3. In System Program number 902, if necessary, indicate the number of digits to be removed, and a particular digit (usually 1) that might have to be added, when returning a local phone call. The default programming is to remove the first three digits, and add nothing; which is correct for most locations.
  4. In System Program 903, if necessary, indicate the number of digits to be removed, and up to 4 digits that might have to be added, when returning a long distance phone call. The default programming is to not remove any digits, and add a 1; which is correct for most locations.
  5. In System Program number 909, enable Call Log Assignment for each phone where you want to log Caller ID information. You can use * to indicate you want logging at all phones.
  6. Get out of system programming. (Press Hold or End, then Program.)
Phone Programming:
  1. Program a button for Caller ID Indication on each phone where you want to log Caller ID information. Press Program, then the button you want to use for Caller ID Indication (we recommend the top button in the left column), then 96, then Store, then Hold, then Program. (If you want a phone to record Caller ID information individually, rather than for the whole system, use 6 instead of 96.)
  2. At each phone where you want to log all calls, press intercom, then 7382#.
User Tips:
  • The Caller ID Indication button will light up only when the system has logged UN-answered calls.
  • Use the Navigator Key at the lower right corner of the phone to scroll through Caller ID information.
  • You can erase the entire Caller ID log by pressing Intercom, then 70**#
  • You can erase an individual Caller ID record by pressing Transfer while the information is displayed.
  • If your phone does not have a Navigator Key, you can program an available button for Caller ID Selection. Press Program, then the button you want to use for Caller ID Selection, then 97, then Store, then Hold, then Program. (If you want a phone to record Caller ID information individually, rather than for the whole system, use 7 instead of 97.)
  • To call a number displayed on the Caller ID log, pick up the handset or press the speakerphone button, and press the Caller ID Indication button.

T mobile login to my account

when you make a call from a T-Mobile device, you may choose to block your Caller-ID information, which you can generally do by dialing *67 prior to dialing the called party's number. Refer to the specific instructions for your communication device regarding Caller ID Blocking for other or different dialing instructions. Please note, however, that Caller ID Blocking does not prevent the display of your information when you dial certain business numbers, including 911, 900 numbers, or toll-free numbers. For more specific information or instructions, you may reach a customer service representative by dialing 611 from your T-Mobile phone or 1-800-937-8997 from any phone

Do I have to dial 9-1 before the area code when faxing?

Hello, If you are in an office or corporate environment where the phone system is on a PBX you need to dial 9 usually to get outside the office. If you just have the unit setup at home or to an analog phone jack (not going thru a PBX) then just dial 1 + area code + number. If the number is local then don't use a 1, just the phone number and area code.

When a received call comes in the number shows 1-402 then the number.on call back the phone dials all 11 numbers, then i get a recording from windstream that says i dont need to dial the 1 and area code....

The caller ID in your area is set up to show the 1 plus the area code although not every area has yet to require you to dial the 1 before the number. In the near future it's possible you will have to dial the 1 even if you're calling a local number. I know of no way to change the phone settings in order to remove the 1 in the caller id. Unfortunately it looks like your only option will be to dial the number directly without the 1. Good luck!

Cannot phone Canada

I had the same problem.

The way around this is to dial the number with one of the following codes in front of it:

*67 or *82

Dialing *67+1+(Canadian Phone Number) <SEND> will make the call to Canada, however, your number will not display on the caller's Caller ID display.

Dialing *82+1+(Canadian Phone Number) <SEND> will make the call to Canada, AND your number WILL show up on the caller's Caller ID Display.

I tried it with my Motorola W375 and it works like a charm as of February 13th, 2009.

Using a calling card for a long distance fax

It will surely help if you are using a calling card that has a pinless dialing feature where you don't need to dial your pin. I use Onesuite.com calling card and it has that feature and sending a fax through regular fax machine is easier than having to dial your pin midpoint.
