I removed all the screws but the unit won't open.

How do you open the unit to hit the reset button and check the fuse?

You need to lift up carefully at the back of the cover after removing all the screws and slide slightly moving forward then make sure you don't damage front clip holding the cover co'z in my first time removing the cover i damage one of the clip.

Blu-ray unit won't power up. Any suggestions?

it will not hert you to unplug the unit and open it up, inspect the unit for any type of burning, or the smell of burned parts, if it does have a fuse it will be located near the power supple where the cord goes into the unit. remove all screws, some screws maybe hidden behind stickers that say quality control stickers.

you mite try unplugging the unit for a few hours, try a different outlet in the power strip, resetting the power strip default button. i do not think the blu-ray has reset.

My screen won't work.

Hit the reset button on the back, lower right. If you can get the "settings" icon open and hit "calibrate" that will fix it too. I would still calibrate the screen after you hit the reset button to help prevent this from happening again.

Have a carrier 92 furnace. electric motor will not kick on...just hums. red light on circuit board flashes...help?

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
If the furnace won't run, check the electrical service panel for a blown fuse or tripped breaker. Also make sure the power switch on or near the furnace is turned on. Check the unit for a reset button and try it. Some units have a built-in breaker or fuse panel.
However you can have a missing 1 phase , test with the VOM, for to measure voltage. Or motor need repair for winding trouble, bearing. If you do not have enough experience call some electrician.
God bless you

Disc door won't open. DVD in will still play. How can we make the door open

try to re start the power first to reset the supply in which the door unable to open and then push the open/close button to open the door. if still won't open maybe their is an stuck up at mechanical part, so turn off the player then use a Phillip screw driver to loosen the screws and to remove the cover of the DVD player .you can now access the disc mechanical assembly of your DVD player, remove the CD first and then check if the plastic gear is mis aligned or the the drive belt is broken.much better if you can apply silicon grease in plastic gear for smooth operation.then make sure the open/close button is ok, good luck and good day.

I have a konica Minolta bizhub C250 and the screen is reading "replace transfer unit" and "replace fusing unit". I contacted a local repair guy that said he might be able to reset the counters and the...

I can only tell you they are definately resettable as I do it all the time.
The fuser "fuse" is located in the connector wiring. Once you get the fuser out just look in the area where the large connector is. It is a very small fuse similar to a resistor, green, and is encased in shrink wrap.
The Transfer belt fuse is behind a small black cover. If you pull the transfer belt unit out of the machine about 6 inches, it is located on the front right corner. In other words standing in front of the copier with the belt unit partially out it is on the corner closest to you. You have to remove a screw, a c-clip, a small metal plate and the small black cover is held on with a very small phillips screw.
He is the parts availablitity and part number info.
Fuses are available at http://www.digikey.com/
Transfer Belts
Replace glass fuse 80ma , counter resets automatically.

Fuse is wrapped in shrink wrap. Cut it out and splice in a 1/16 ma fuse.

My neighbor?s house was hit by lightning. My Keurig machine was plugged in and now won?t work at all. Is there a fuse/breaker/reset button?

..um... there might be a Movister a metal oxide Resister that may have taken the hit...but there is a electrical panel in the unit. the b-70's electrical unit is on the right side lower area... covered by the black shroud.
no breaker... that's for sure...
It could be as simple as a circuit board trace blew... acting as the fuse when the Movister took the jolt of the lighting hit... so it may be fixable.
just the realitty of opening up the unit... and your willingness to open it and look...

you can re-submit on how to open the unit...
I have an answer on how to open up a B-70... should be similar

My Garmin 305 quit

These units seem to be suffering from a bad connection on the inside of the unit. My wife's did the same thing. There was a connection inside that wasn't making contact. First try cleaning the 4 brass connection tabs on the watch and check your charger to make sure the tabs are raised and not squished. Second try to reset the unit. Hit mode reset and power buttons all at the same time. Hold these for 3 seconds and then release. If these do not work here is what I did. There are no screws holding the unit together. I used a exacto blade to very carefully pry the unit apart along the side seam. It's not easy to do. Be very cautious and gentle. Work the thickness of the blade into the joint to gently wedge apart. You are not trying to remove material! Once apart you will see some fingers that make a connection between the upper and lower part of the unit. This is where the problem was with my wife's 305. I gently raised these tabs to make a better connection, It's been working ever since. I didn't try it before but try pressing very hard on the unit where it says Forerunner 305. The case is very hard so it might not work. But if it powers up when pushing you found your problem. Hope this helps. Here is a link I found on opening a 205 (Same process) http://ctorunner.googlepages.com/dismantleforerunner205 To put the unit back together use Automotive silicon/gasket maker. Use a tooth pick to put a VERY small amount of silicon around the entire seam. Put the two half's together and wrap tightly with electrical tape. Test the unit immediately to see if it powers on and off. If it does not open it back up and raise the small prongs that make the connection from the bottom half to the top half. If any silicon squishes out the sides wipe with water and a rag. Let the unit sit over night. In the morning remove the tape.

Sharp XR-10X/XR-10S - CAN'T FIND THE RESET BUTTON

Hi, I just opened my Sharp xr-10x DLP projector today, which had no power, no lights, no functions. A previous post worked for me...Remove the 6 screws on the bottom of the unit (you'll need a longer phillips) and the two screws on the back, toward the top of the unit. Obviously, be sure to keep these handy for reassembly (I have two curious dogs and a 4 year old to contend with). Then, to remove the housing...use a std screwdriver and slightly pry the cover off from the rear of the unit. This should losen allowing you to pivot the cover forward and then off from the projector lens. If you need to reset your unit, the reset button is near the lamp, not the lens (to the side of the lens). It is a small red button--depress this. Next, you can connect the ac cord and try powering up the unit. For me, I got a blinking red light but could not power up the unit. I then opened up the lamp compartment on the bottom of the unit (2 srcews) and remove the lamp. Next reconnect the lamp...when doing so, make sure the two prongs fit the lamp--this is the power supply. Then replace the lamp cover and retest the unit. At this point, my projector powered up as it used to. Finally replace the projector cover...from the lens then backward. Tighten all screws and you, hopefully will be ready to use the projector again.

Keep in mind, your problem may be the need for a replacement fuse or lamp. The fuse should be available at an electric supply shop or a Radio Shack store. I have seen replacement lamps for $190-$275 available online.

Good Luck...Hope this helps you out. As I said, I just completed this process myself today and am happy to have avoided the shipping costs and $65 diagnostic fee + labor and parts to have Sharp repair this. We are looking forward to 'movie night' on the 8' screen tonight! Hopefully, you'll be enjoying your projector soon!

"Reset fusing unit"

Please open the front door and in the middle you will find a brown cover. Unscrew the screw of the cover and pull out the fusing unit.
Push it back carefully, close the front door and switch on.
If reset fusing unit is still there, probably the socket at the rear of the fusing unit is out of place. If it is Ok, then there is the plug mounted at the back in the machine which is out of place.
It will need to remove the power supply unit from the back, to be able to access this plug and adjust it.
Good luck.
