Water dribbling out of dispencer whirlpool american fridgefreezer

I have an whirlpool american fridge freezer and there seams to be a problem with the water dispencer. The water just dribbles out when you try to fill a glass? And it seams to be making a loud buzzing noise when you do try to get water. It literally takes 3/4 minutes to fill a glass of water from it!!?? Anybody any ideas?? Water filter is at 60% so that's fine!
Thanks

Dee

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

No ICE or Chilled water

Colin,
The water line is fine (what about water inside that line). Please check the source of the water line, I am sure when the previous used it they might have shut the water valve somewhere. Check your basement for that small valve etc.

Frozen water on bottom of whirlpool model evl181nxtq01

I assume that the water is on the bottom of the fridge compartment? It could be that the drain trough has blocked and every time the fridge does an auto defrost, water runs out onto the floor of the fridge rather than down the drain. Once the defrost finishes, the water will stay on the floor of the fridge. Cold air falls to the bottom so its possible to get a sheet of ice in the bottom of the fridge. Locate the drain trough in the back wall of the fridge. See if you can visually locate any blockages or carefully dribble warm water down the drain to clear it.

Whirlpool American Fridge Freezer

Make sure that the water filter is the right one and that it is pushed all the way in. If that is correct than There should be two solenoids located behind the fridge at the bottom one is for your ice and one for water. Unplug unit and test the water solenoid with an ohm meter across the two terminals if it ohms out or beeps than your solenoid is bad.

Samsung american fridgefreezer

2 years is much too short for starting problems with a refridgerator contact your dealer for a condition because of warranty on the repair you eventual will spend on it. Hidden defects are factory falts are there some holes for melting water are clogged inside the fridge somewhere
An ordinary refrigerator is made for a 17-year life span. like brands as Bosch Siemens Kuppersbusch easely have that lifetime but your dealer is the right point to get your service .

Freezer defrost LG american style

Defrost the unit for two days with the doors open...I know you're going to lose your contents. You may have ice on the coils internally. Next make sure you've cleaned the external coils under the unit. Leaving liquids open inside the unit or setting it colder than required will both cause issues like the ones you've got. Also, be sure all air vents inside the unit are unblocked and the door closes tightly all around.
