Can't release door after cleaning

If the oven display is showing LOC, then the lockout feature was enabled. Press and hold the key pad with the padlock symbol for 3+ seconds. This is just below the Timer On/Off key pad and to the right of the Light key pad. You should see the word DOOR and the padlock icon flash until the door is unlocked and the control panel is released.

If the word DOOR and the padlock icon are lit, then the oven is in the self-clean mode. The lock should release after you cancel the self-cleaning cycle by pressing off and the oven cools down (at least one hour). Unfortunately, sometimes the heat of the self-clean cycle will damage the oven. Either the oven temperature sensor will not give the release signal or the door lock will not disengage. In that case, the oven needs to have the correct part serviced.

That should reset the oven, if it does not, the oven timer control is clearly defective and should be replaced , you find parts here.

what model do u have can u try to push relly hard the lever ove rto right again

Here are a couple of things to try:

1. Unplug the unit or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Plug the unit back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.
2. Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15 minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.

That is a very complicated unit for the average handyman. It has electronic controls and a relay board, sensors and a locking mechanism. First thing I would check is the locking mechanism and the switch on it. Do this first and let me know if you find one of the switches defective or shorted. While there, check the light switch which is bi-functional being used for the light and also to tell the ERC the door is opened or closed.

Instructions
1. Remove the broiler pan and any utensils to prevent them from being damaged. Take out the oven racks, since the high heat might discolor them.
2. Wet a cleaning cloth or sponge with hot water and detergent. Wash off splatters or spills from areas that won't be affected by the cleaning process, including the oven door liner and the oven's front frame. Wipe up any excess grease or spills on the oven floor.
3. Close the oven door and press the "clean" pad on the unit's touch pad.

6. While the cleaning function operates, use the scouring pads to wash the oven racks and other utensils. Once the cycle ends and the oven unlocks and cools, you can use a damp cloth to pick up any loose or burnt debris inside. Replace the racks, broiler pan and utensils.

the timer in the control panel is still regeristing heat! and when the sensor weakens with age it keeps the circuit closed till all heat is gone in the oven area~ to get the door open? unplug the oven or trun off the pwoer to it!! for 15 minutes then turn it back on and it will release you just need to replace the oven heat range sensor for the self cleaning cycle

Once the cleaning button on the oven is pressed it take 15 minutes for the uven door to unlock.

Have you tried to unpulg it and see if it unlocks

Try pushing and holding the door shut. Then moderately tap on the door where the latch is and it may come loose. Usually it is mechanical and not electrical here. Could also be if you have a self cleaner on it, that it is reading that you are cleaning the oven. If the first thing does not work, then turn off your breaker for about 15 seconds and then back on. Sometimes it may reset itself and put it back in working order.
