I use only bunn filters yet my coffee grounds seem to over flow over the filter to the top of the filter container.
Can you please come up with any solutions for me.
Many Thanks
Tressia
Tressia,
An overflow can occur when using certain brands of coffee that are finer ground or using a water softener, bottled water, reverse osmosis, or filtered water. If you will call Bunn Customer Service, you can get a flow restrictor sprayhead which will eliminate this issue.

I purchased a special flow restrictor sprayhead from BunnAtHome.com because I use decaf coffee. Also if you use a finer grind then you need this to slow the water so it doesn't overflow.
If this is a pour-over coffeemaker, you can't do anything about the flow. It's just gravity pushing the water out of the reservoir. But you can try using a coarser grind of coffee. If the grind is too fine (if you grind whole beans for too long in a blade grinder, for instance, or if you're using espresso grind coffee), the water can't flow through quickly enough and it backs up and overflows. Make sure your coffee is ground for a drip coffeemaker.
Do you mean that the brewer basket (which contained ground coffee) is oveflowing before it filters down. please give me detailed question and give me the modal number. thanks
Dunkin Donuts decaf coffee clogs the filter as the water fills the basket causing the basket to overflow. The coffee is ground too fine. Swtich brands or use a second filter to cover the coffee grounds to keep them from floating and clogging the filter.
Some people also try adding fresh grounds to brewed grounds, resulting in an overflow. A restricter valve can be used, but a better solution is to simply pour in half the water at a time. This is what people who buy non Bunn filters do to stop overfills.
Do you grind your beans at home before brewing or is it ground from the store. If you grind just before brewing check her grind and compare it with yours. Also check to see if she levels the coffee in the basket. Usually when a pot overflows it is because of the grind or the way the coffee sits in the basket.
