Did you delete them on the computer or the camera? If they are safely on your computer, you can erase and optimize the card for the camera by going into the menu and finding "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

The SD card says it's full after only six pictures and is very warm to the touch when I remove it from the camera. Is this a camera or a card issue?

I'd recomment you to try the SD card at a different device ie. a computer or another camera... that way you can see whether the camera or the SD Card is failing.

Konica minolta dimage z3 4mp digital camera firmware 1.3u can't find the software to download

You don't need any software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Turn on camera and system error screen comes up and you cannot do anything to camera.

1st you need to update the firmware to 1.3u
download firmware here
http://ca.konicaminolta.com/support/americas/digital_cameras/dimage-z/dimage-z3/software_drivers/index.html (this allows 2GB cards)
instructions are here
http://ca.konicaminolta.com/support/americas/digital_cameras/dimage-z/dimage-z3/software_drivers/firmware/installation_guide.html
(instructions are a little vague on where macro mode button *flower button* is)
Also, you might have a bad SD memory card. format the card (erasing all data/pics on card)
and take some picks and try again.. if you can
If still a system error try a different SD card to get past error then update firmware with THAT SD card.
IF that don't work.... your hosed... ;(

I put the 2 gig memory card in my konica dimage z3 and it says unable to use card. what does it means?

It has something to do with your firmware version, it has to be ver 1.03 or never. There is good help to find at Konica´s website on how to check your own version and how to opdate

Z3 will not accept a 2g card

The Dimage Z3 accept SD cards up to 1GB (Minolta says 512 Mb, and sold it with 16Mb). This camera is 4MP , and uses less memory on card, therefore a 512MB card will be enough for it.

SanDisk Flash memory card - 512 MB SD Memory ...

from $13 - 20 stores

PNY Flash memory card - 512 MB SD Memory Card ...

from $3 - 2 stores

SanDisk SD Industrial Flash memory card - 512 ... from $14

Here 1 Gb, try at your risk, but they normally work:

1GB Flash Memory Upgrade Card for Konica ... £3.44 - Memory Express

Insufficient Storage Space on Device

Hi there, one way you could try is to format your card. Backup everything from the memory card that you want to keep first (to your PC), connect like before, then go my computer -> right click on the memory card -> format. Once you've done this it should restore it to default - chris.
