I am looking to design t-shirts and do screen printed images on the tees. Is it possible to print my images on to transparency sheets with my Canon iP1800?

I have just bought some basic tees from https://www.gotapparel.com/m-41-rabbit-skins.aspxI wan to try screenprinting on them soon. I think it will look amazing, especially with my own designs on them. Can't wait to make the personalised T-Shirts for my friends too ;)
Of course; usually it's a matter of having the application (e.g. going via Inkscape or Adobe CS4) print that design mirrored L-R, though it's possible that Print Mirrored is available in the printer driver also. If you mirror it both places of course, it will look unmirrored (i.e. raw/unripped.) You probably want to use some good UV stable inks and a 6-color (plus black) printer rather than the MP600 (whose ColorLife inks are for paper) if you can, because the colors will be more accurate and compatible with your plastic transfer media so the shirt will look great longer. Then again, you may not want to spend more than it would take to have an embroiderer make 1000 shirts, onesies, dresses, and skirts.
no printer is capable of all the colors a monitor is. create designs in "printable" colors. programs like paintshop and photoshop can "show" you on your monitor what an image will look like when printed, and even convert those images to those colors if you wish
try using windows paint, put the image there and go to image- flip/rotate then tic flip horizintal. bingo then save the image and print in the photo editor of choice.
Manual does not mention Transparencies.
Manual states that It will print T-shirt transfers:
T-Shirt Transfers TR-301
This paper is used to create iron-on transfers. The image is printed inverted. Paper Support Load Limit: 1 sheet Paper Output Tray Load Limit:
We recommend that you remove the previously printed sheet from the Paper Output Tray before continuously printing to avoid blurs and discoloration. Paper Thickness Lever: Right Media Type:
Printer Driver Setting: T-Shirt Transfers
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
Hello I think I can help you. I Would not use T shirt transfer when you make up your print I would select poster print or any other form that does not automatically reverse the image. The reason your software is designed to do this is on the regular transfer paper your laying the image down on the shirt, so for it to come out right it has to be reversed. With the dark T shirt transfer paper your peeling off the backing and putting the image face up on the T Shirt.
