Washer seems to be leaking during spin cycle.

My Whirlpool Gold Ultimate Care II seems to be leaking from the right side underneath during the spin cycle. There doesn't seem to be anything leaking from the hoses in the back of the machine.

If the water is gushing from the washer, check the small plastic air dome hose on the lower right hand side of the wash tub. Sometimes the hose can come loose and come off. This will cause the water to begin pouring out of the bottom of the the washer when it begins to fill. The following link has some other things you may consider as well:

Take the front or rear panel off so you can watch the parts during the fill, wash, and spin cycle looking at the hoses and pump to determine where the water is coming from.

Will not spin on any rinse cycle

Hi, This washer does not have a belt. While the washer is agitating, if you lift the lid will it stop? Some models will agitate but not spin if the lid is up. It sounds to me like the lid switch might be going bad.
If you will get me a model #, I can look this up for you and give you a better idea.

Dear shelldon39, Fri 2-20-2009 9:24pm EST (USA)

Some machines will shut down during the spin cycle as a precaution to prevent damage!

They will do this if you overload the washer with clothes and/or use too much detergent!

If this doesn't help please get back to me with more details!
