It's located where the paper comes out above the toner door. It's on the top side on the left. Put your hand inside where the paper exits on the left side and it's above your hand.
well if you have tried resetting the printer and tried reinstalling the printer software and if does not work then this might have an sensor problem, the sensor is located just above the paper tray. you cannot see the sensor.
If your printer is in warranty then call up the HP toll free number and they will replace it.
you will have to go to magellan.com & order the 2008/2009 map update. it costs a hundred bucks unless you are a caa member, then they knock off 25% or so. You can't burn a copy because they need a special code to make sure you bought it legally. Pretty smart. I just got mine & am trying to get it loaded now.

if you go to the plug and the machine meet. pull out the plug and attached to the machine (where the plug goes into) if you pull this black out of the machine. Located in there are two small fuses', looking at them you will noticed if they are burned out or not. Pick up new ones at home depot.
